Producers have been requesting alternatives to PayPal for years. Yet many are still unable to sell their beats on BeatStars simply because they cannot use PayPal.
We understand that implementing additional payment methods can be complex and that you want to provide a reliable solution.
However, this issue has been discussed and reportedly worked on for several years, and it still remains unresolved. At this point, that is difficult to understand.
This isn't just a minor inconvenience. It's a fundamental limitation that prevents many producers from using your platform and becoming paying BeatStars customers in the first place.
For a platform of this size, alternative payout methods should have been a priority long ago.
We strongly encourage BeatStars to prioritise this issue and finally provide a concrete progress update and realistic timeline for a solution.

Creators have been asking for alternatives to PayPal for a long time, and for some of you, it’s the one thing standing between you and selling on BeatStars at all. That’s not a small problem, and we haven’t been as open with the community about it as we should have been. We’re truly sorry for that.
However, this hasn’t been sitting on a shelf. Finding the right payout partners has been much harder than we anticipated, and we’ve hit roadblock after roadblock, which has sent us back to the drawing board more than once. We should have been sharing that along the way instead of going quiet.
Here’s where things are now. We have found a solution that we believe in, and we’re building it as we speak. Our aim is to release the first phase this quarter, and the team is working hard to get it there.
