Can y’all please, for the love of God, change the marketplace app so it doesn’t play random beats as soon as the app opens. It is extremely frustration and consistently annoying. I am begging at this point.

You'll be pleased to know that we're already addressing this issue, and the work is planned for the near future. We've updated the experience on our Android app and are currently working to bring the same improvements to our iOS app.
Why we made the original design choice: We initially wanted to spark inspiration by presenting Beats immediately when artists open the app. The Spotlight feed uses a recommendation algorithm that considers listening history and other factors to surface relevant tracks. However, we quickly learned that auto-play could be disruptive, especially for first-time users or those returning to the app after some time away.
What's changing: We're updating the experience to give users more control over when audio plays, creating a better balance between discovery and user preference.
